The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) scores submitted with student visa applications will soon be accepted by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
As previously reported, Australian student visa applicants who choose to use the Pearson Test to demonstrate their English language ability will be required to demonstrate a PTE Academic score ranging between 29 and 50 at Assessment Levels 3 and 4, depending on the applicant's nationality, education sector and terms of study.

Vice President of Government Relations for Pearson Asia Pacific Fraser Cargill indicated in his statement that "PTE Academic is the fastest test in the market, returning scores typically within five business days, making it a popular choice among student visa applicants with tight deadlines to meet."
