In order to meet growing labour needs, a new tool named Construction Employer's Roadmap has been launched by Construction Sector Council (CSC). This new resource will be considered as significant help for bringing the aspiring immigrants wanting to work in Canada construction sector and the employers in Canada construction industry.
In the organization's latest Construction Looking Forward forecast report, Mr. George Gritziotis, executive director of Canadian CSC pointed that the growth of workers in Canada construction is being set to increase thanks to a slow but sustained growth in this sector.
"The industry is growing steadily, but over the next decade, construction will lose a quarter of its workforce thanks to retirements", he added.

Jason Kenney, Minister of Canadian Immigration, Citizenship and Multiculturalism not only expressed his pride of the government in assisting the efforts of Canada's Construction Sector Council but also admitted importance of immigration in supporting the required workforce in Canada.
"The Government of Canada is proud to support the work of the Construction Sector Council, as we know that within the next few years, most of Canada's labour force growth will come from immigration," he said. "Attracting and retaining the best international talent to address existing and future labour market challenges is critical to our economic success."
