According to US ambassador to Malaysia Paul W. Jones, the approval rate for US Visa application had gone up to 95 percent and in some cases, the visas were endorsed in just two days, instead of the usual three.

"YES is a special effort by the US government to facilitate communication between US and Muslim nations", John said, and it was then accepting students from Thailand and the Philippines.
